John Felix Anothony Cena never really fit in his small rural community. He had a love for freestyling lyrics and was very individualistic. He was picked on by kids until about the age of 15 when he started hitting the gym. He applied to more than 60 colleges and was accepted to 58. He attended Massachusetts' Springfield College, where he was a Division III All-American offensive lineman. He also earned a degree in Exercise Physiology.

Cena started to train to become a wrestler in 2000 and his first televised WWE match was against Kurt Angle on June 27, 2002. He has gone on to win the WWE Championship three times, the WWE United States Championship three times and the World Tag Team Championship once.

Besides wrestling, Cena has done many other ventures. He starred in the movie The Marine and has had guest appearances on numerous TV shows. He has various endorsements and is a hip-hop musician.
