Kane Information and History
Glen Thomas Jacob is both an American professional wrestler and an actor, better known as Kane. He went to Truman State University on a basketball scholarship and was an NCAA all-star and is still listed in the Truman State University media guide as holding the record for highest field goal percentage for a single season. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in English and did some substitute teaching in the St. Louis area.
Kane began his professional wrestling career in 1983 and was first known as Angus King. In 1995, he made his debut in the WWE as Dr. Isaac Yankem DDS, Jerry "the King" Lawler's private dentist. He became known as Kane in 1997, the younger half-brother of The Undertaker.
Kane has been the WWE Champion, Intercontinental Champion, World Tag Team Champion, WCW Tag Team Champion and Hardcore Champion. He married his wife, Maurisa, in 1995 and has two stepdaughters. He is an active member of the Libertarian party.
